Q28 - My Roseville Quilt
Q28 I bought this quilt as a complete kit from Hancock Fabrics and
it was designed by Maggie Walker, one of my favorite designers.
My Roseville Quilt was accepted into "A Quilter's Gathering" Quilt Show,
in New Hampshire , which was held from Nov. 4th - 7th, 2004.
I did not receive an award, and after looking at the winning quilts,
I certainly understood why. They said I had not done enough hand quilting on my background.
The other quilts were heavily hand quilted, so I will have to go back
and add more stitches to my backgrounds. The quilts on display were
absolutely gorgeous... many taking my breath away!
If you are in New England, don't miss this quilt show, it happens every
year in the fall.
