Q17 - My Vegetable Basket Block
Quilt #17 This square was made at the request of one of the patients at the hospital where I work.
She knew I did quilting, and needed to make a square for a 75th birthday party of a dear friend.
When I said I would be glad to help, she gave me this vegetable fabric, saying that her friend loved gardening.
I created this basket of vegetables out of that fabric, and wove strips of fabric to make the basket.
Below is a picture of the finished quilt.
(I am going to use a copy of this square in a quilt of special seasonal baskets I am designing.)
