Q13 - Home is Where the Heart Is
Quilt #13 One of the local quilt stores had a contest recently. They sold kits with 5 fabrics included.
The theme was "Home Is Where The Heart Is". We had to make an original design, incorporating this theme.
We had to use at least 3 of the original 5 fabrics and could add more if we wanted.
The main fabric was the village fabric, and when I saw it combined with the star-like fabric,
I knew right away that I could try a "window" pattern idea I had been working on for awhile.
And you can see the results... even Alf loved it!
(And, I am proud to say, it got an "Honorable Mention" too!)
