Quilt #4 started as a contest
quilt.
One of the quilt shops I go
to sells small packages of assorted fabrics,
and each person who enters the
contest makes a 12" block using the same fabrics,
and adding a contrast or two
if desired. Then, when the deadline is up,
they draw one person's name,
and that person wins all the blocks that were entered.
I was the lucky winner of 9
blocks, added 3 more of my own, and created this quilt.
The funny thing was I didn't
really like the colors to start, but loved the finished product!
