Quilt #18 was done as a "challenge"
quilt by one of my quilting friends,Karen, and me.
We find a pattern to do, and
each use different fabrics, just to see how it will come out.
We did it with a double
wedding ring quilt, and we are working on another one now, a sampler-type
quilt.
On this one, I used darker,
more solid colors, and some plaids.
Karen used lighter colors, more
whites, and lighter plaids.
I will have to get a picture
of hers to compare here!
Here is a close-up of the quilt.
I changed the pattern, as usual... Have to add my own "touch"!
Oh, and the book we got the
pattern from is a Red Wagon book called "Snowbound"
by Gerry Kimmel, Linda Brannock,
and Jan Patek .
