Quilt #16 was the first quilt
I gave as a gift.
It is a lap quilt, and uses
the "Patience Corner" four-patch pattern
from the book I bought at my
first quilting class, "The Sampler Quilt" by Diana Leone.
I hand-quilted little hearts
in the "free space" areas and used two fabrics with the same design of
flowers,
but in two contrasting colors.
I like the effect it gave.
