My family consists of my wonderful husband
and Best friend,
Charlie, two sons, and one daughter (the youngest).
I grew up in Connecticut, spending most of
my weekends and summers
at the Connecticut shoreline, around Old Saybrook
and Mystic Seaport.
My parents had a cottage near Mystic, and
we loved the whole Long Island Sound area.
We did alot of fishing, boating, and water
sports there.
My Dad had served in the Navy in WWII, on
the Aircraft Carrier
The
USS Bennington (CV-20),
and he passed on his love of the ocean to
his kids.
Then after going to college in the Beautiful
Busy Boston area,
Connecticut seemed so quiet, so I moved back
to Boston with a roommate,
who's boyfriend fixed me up with a blind date...
You guessed it... Charlie!
And the rest is, as they say, history!
